( It is the first weekend of December and Conrad and I are in New York, for what we think of as our anniversary. )

note: this was my holiday project for writing group. each person in the group contributed a plot point, and we had to incorporate each one of them in order. it was not my first or even second idea, and for that i blame dear-tiger. (for once something isn't wrenlet's fault!)
